Suzanne Rogers, an 81-year-old soap opera icon, was recently spotted in Los Angeles looking unrecognizable as she went shopping. The veteran actress, known for her lengthy career in daytime television, donned a leopard print head wrap, aviators, and a casual teal-colored quilted jacket over a matching turtleneck. Her stylish yet low-key look caught the attention of fans, prompting speculation about her identity. Despite her age, Rogers continues to captivate attention with her vibrant style and public appearances.

Rogers is best known for her role as Maggie Horton Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives, a character she has portrayed for an impressive 52 years, making her the longest-running actor in the history of American soap operas. She first appeared on the show in 1973, and her portrayal of Maggie has seen the character grow from a disabled woman to a powerful businesswoman who became the CEO of Titan Industries. In addition to her soap opera fame, Rogers has made appearances in various other television shows, including Knight Rider, Little House on the Prairie, Quincy, M.E., and Love, American Style. Before her acting career took off, Suzanne began her journey as a Radio City Rockette, performing in numerous Broadway productions. Her background in dance and theater helped her build a solid foundation for her acting career.

Rogers, who has never had children, was married to Another World star Sam Groom between 1980 and 1982. Reflecting on her character’s evolution over the years, she shared on Instagram that Maggie has become a more independent and self-assured woman, a message she believes is important for everyone to embrace.
