For the first 37 years of his life, Jack Nicholson believed his mother was actually his sister.  Dancer June Nicholson gave birth to her first child at just 17. June’s conservative mother couldn’t bear the thought of the small-town gossips whispering about her daughter over coffee.

According to the legend, Ethel claimed that Jack was her son while June was his older sister.
