This young guy, who is just 11, is proof that you do not need to be mature and influential in order to take heroic actions. All of this came about after he risked his own life to save a wounded dog.

When a dog started crying, Jean was strolling down the street. The poor critter was apparently struck by a car, and the driver fled, leaving him in excruciating pain.

He hurried into the road, halted traffic, and then picked up the dog and carried him to safety because he knew he had to act.

Fortunately, the kind deed wasn’t overlooked, as a local captured the touching scene on camera. A photographer took a few images of the occasion and posted them online. As was to be expected, the post quickly gained popularity on social media, with many users praising the child for his lovely gesture.

When asked about his child’s act of generosity, Jean’s mother responded that she was not surprised by it since he has a strong affinity for animals. The dog that Jean saved was brought to a nearby shelter, where he received medical attention for his wounds and is anticipated to make a full recovery shortly.
